Contemplative Practice

Instructions: Please deeply listen to the audio, reflecting on two key elements–mindfulness and expressions of kindness. Allow yourself the time and space to sit quietly, with little distractions. After listening, please reflect on the following:

  • Mindfulness is being present with what is happening at this moment. What did you notice about your thoughts, posture, or feelings as you listened to the audio?
  • Self-compassion asks that we extend loving kindness to ourselves. Say a few positive, uplifting comments out loud that you need to hear right now.
